Animal wellness services are offered by Dr. Annette Ramseyer of Easing Paw Animal Wellness/Therapy. Easing Paw offers preventive, non-invasive, non-medicated, restorative animal therapy services and specializes in dogs, cats, horses and other animals large and small. Dr. Ramseyer is trained in pet massage, acupressure (small animals), Healing Touch for Animals ® (HTA), and Tellington TTouch.
So why is preventative animal therapy important? Animals, especially dogs, are our soulmates and trusted companions. They provide us companionship, love and friendship for a lifetime. In exchange, we care for and love them as best we can. Preventative therapy is one of the best ways to keep our pets healthy and happy, with a less likelihood to be injured or sick. Alternative medicine has no side effects and generally helps an animal get better and stay healthy.
General information regarding each service offered by Dr. Ramseyer is below. For additional information, please visit her website at www.easingpaw.com or feel free to call her at (626) 391-6356. Why not get your dog a massage while he/she is here for grooming or daycare? They'll love you for it!
Annette Ramseyer (HTAP, ApP, CMT, Ph.D. Animal-Immune Biologist) received her certification in human massage therapy and decided to extend her knowledge by studying the field of animal wellness/therapy. As a Biologist, she has always felt connected to animals and has a passion for their well-being. Alternative medicine is Annette's way of providing care and healing to those who give us so much.
Healing Touch for Animals® / Komitor Healing Method (HTA/KHM), is recognized by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and relies on energy and intention. Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) is a holistic energy therapy that stabilizes your animal's emotional, instinctual, spiritual and physical being, thus restoring the harmony, energy, and balance within the animal's energy system. This helps maintain the health and well-being of your pet.
Massage is more than a rub. It is focused, careful, and precise hands-on work, which stimulates blood circulation, improves digestion, strengthens immunity, relieves stress and promotes muscle relaxation.
The acupressure practitioner uses light finger pressure on the acupressure points (also called acupoints) along the meridians. The meridians give specific places to access and influence the internal functioning of the animal’s body. Acupressure stabilizes your animal's emotional, instinctual, spiritual and physical being and restores harmony, energy, and balance within the animal's energy system. This helps maintain and restore the health and well-being of your pet.
T-Touch is a hands-on technique which uses a combination of specific touches, lifts, and movement exercises, T-Touch helps to release tension and increase body awareness. This allows the animal to be handled without fear responses. Tellington T-Touch assists with recovery from illness or injury, and can enhance the quality of your animal's life. It can help with increased mobility, behavior issues, anxiety, relaxation, seizure frequency, pain and inflammation control, allergies, and much more.
